My name is Eric Luvaas and I am the current President of this amazing PTO.  My family and I moved to the Summerwood area 5 years ago and have been welcomed with open arms from the community and the staff at Summerwood Elementary.  I try to pay back that kindness with volunteering and helping out in any way I can.  I look forward to meeting everyone and working with you all.  I'm usually wearing a PTO, Pickleball, or Star Wars shirt.  Please say hello.

Summerwood Elementary was established in 2004 and serves over 800 students. Our staff of 90+, led by Principal Dawnielle Shrader and Assistant Principal Chloe' Batiste, is charged with focusing on the individual needs of the student while supporting the future citizens of our community.

Our PTO supports these efforts through the provision of educational grants, school-wide reading programs, fundraising initiatives, and volunteerism. With many opportunities available both day and night, serving a variety of interests, there is sure to be a perfect fit for your family and schedule.
